Maximize Your Mornings!

I'm signing up to do this......



You can join too if you want to!  I need to get up before my kids, I need to have time with God before the day gets rolling, I need to be a Spirit-filled woman, wife and mommy for anything good to happen in my life and home. 

Basically, and thankfully, I'm in a good place of needing Jesus to help me to live for Him, by His strength.  "Apart from Him I can do nothing" (John 15:5b).  The part of the verse immediately preceding that is, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit."  


"Lord, may I come to You, daily, all day long, so that I may know you, remain in you and bear fruit FOR You and for Your glory.  You are good.  I love you and desire to please you, and I know I cannot, cannot, CANNOT do anything good on my own.  You can fill me and use me, I pray for your Spirit to fill me and for my will to be submitted to You.  I love you!"  


He is worth it.  Pray for me to be faithful to get up early to meet with my Jesus!

I have found great encouragement for my current season of life... And, I pray it encourages you in your phase, place, season, trial to trust God.  Because of Jesus, our hope is secure!

Lord Jesus, you do not fail us!  Praise You!

the Holy Spirit bus

I want to be on this bus!  

I saw this bus on New Years Day while driving to Denver (again) for a Christmas event. 

Hannah's prayer

Hannah, praying before bed the sometime last week:

"Thank you God....for panties, for dog food (big smile and sneaky laugh), for grandmas, and for Jesus.  Amen."

As she was praying, Chad and I were silently laughing.

We don't have a dog. 
She doesn't wear panties yet. 
But, she did pray for some people (grandmas), and Jesus was included....

Love that funny girl.  May she grow up to be like Hannah from the Bible: a serious, persistent, honest, pouring-out-her-heart kind of woman of prayer.
